What can we expect from you if elected? 

Residents can expect accessibility, accountability and customer service. I’m not going to promise that I have all the answers, or that everything will be fixed overnight. What I can promise is that I will listen, ask the tough questions and make decisions based on facts-not politics. Most importantly, I’ll remember who I work for. This isn’t a retirement plan or a hobby for me. It’s a 24/7 job and if residents give me the opportunity, I’ll show up everyday ready to work for ward 15 residents. 

What is your number one priority if elected? 

My first priority would be getting spending under control. Tax payers cannot afford any more Tiffany/Barton “errors”. I would push for a line-by-line budget review of each department, measurable results from City programs, greater transparency and finding efficiencies before automatically asking tax payers for more money. 

What is your number two priority if elected? 

Core services and infrastructure. We need to get back to the basics of what a municipality is responsible for. I want tax dollars prioritized toward the thing’s residents use and depend on every day. 

What is your number three priority if elected? 

Public safety. Residents deserve to feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, and businesses. I would support effective frontline policing and emergency services while demanding accountability for results. I would advocate for improved coordination between the police, bylaw, and social services so we’re addressing problems instead of continually paying to manage the symptoms.
